My name is Pastor David Arnold. In 1999, This ministry took its first steps into the digital realm, adopting the name The Covenant Assembly which I built as an online version of The Covenant Assembly which ran in 1974 by Pastor Terry Lawson from his old folks home he ran in Southampton which started out by ministering Gods word to the elderly and growing until it reached a point of growth to move to the local YMCA leaving Terry to continue with the elderly until soon after Terry moved to Scotland with his family leaving his legacy of the Covenant Assembly church in Southampton.
It was at the creation of the Church at the YMCA that I also left Southampton. To me Terry had a massive impact on my spiritual walk with the Lord as such On top of my always feeling lead to create this I also dedicate it to Terry Lawson & Bubbles as we knew her his wife both wonderful powerful children of God also being my personal testimony of faith.
But primarily to help spread the Gospel of Salvation to the world..
So since 1999 over time, as the scope of our outreach expanded through the sudden abilities of the open net and technological advancements , I discerned a call to transcend denominational boundaries. Thus, in 2011, we made the decision to rebrand ourselves as The Faithful, symbolizing our commitment to encompass the entirety of Christ's body. As stewards of God's grace, we embrace diversity and unity within the faith community, endeavoring to serve as a beacon of hope and love in a world often marked by division. As the one body of Christ. This sparkly nice looking new web site was created in 2024.
The Faithful is my testimony of faith and calling of the Lord for his Glory on the open net in helping to spread his gift of salvation to the whole world.. We live in the End Times time now is short. Its all unfolding in front of our eyes.
The Faithful & its previous known name of The Covenant Assembly is and always has run as an independent autonomous ministry/fellowship.
All are called to be Ministers of Gods Grace each with there own God given Gifts of the Spirit You are the Church this has been built to guide you to learning exactly who you are in Christ and acting upon it giving you the tools to do so.
